ABBOTTABAD, April 7: The Christian community in Abbottabad has demanded of the United Nations to take steps for initiating action against American pastor Terry Jones, who by burning the Holy Quran had committed an unforgivable sin besides bringing a bad name to the whole Christian community.

A delegation of elders of the local Christian community, led by Zakri Paul advocate and including father Akram Javed, pastor Saleem Ghouri, Michel Kiyani and pastor Nazir, visited Abbottabad Press Club on Thursday and showed their anger over the burning of the Holy Quran by Pastor Terry Jones in America.

They said that this was a great conspiracy against the minorities in other countries of the world and also against the Christian community living peacefully in Pakistan. The Christian elders said that they had full liberty to perform their religious rituals in Pakistan. — Correspondent
