Shepherd killed

ATTOCK, April 2: A shepherd was killed while another person was injured seriously in two different incidents in different areas of the disrtict.

Mohammad Zaheer, resident of Dhoke Seiloo reported to Fatehjang police station on Saturday that his brothers Younis and Yousaf were grazing cattle in the field on Friday evening when Mohammad Naeem, resident of Thatti Gujra village attacked them with an axe after exchange of hot words and fled away.

As a result, Yousaf died on the spot. On information, police rushed to the scene and shifted the body to THQ hospital for postmortem.

A murder case was registered against Naeem. In another incident, Ashraf, resident of Jalwal village was injured by three village fellows Zahoor Aalam, Akram and Arshad Khan over a land dispute.
