Woman axed to death

MIRPURKHAS, Feb 24: A woman was axed to death by her husband on the pretext of karo-kari in the village of Rukkan Burira in district Sanghar on Thursday.

The accused was identified as a farmer named Girdhari Lal Bheel and victim as Shrimati Bheel, 40.

Police arrested the accused and took the body to the taluka hospital of Sinjhoro for an autopsy.
