HYDERABAD, Feb 15: Two blasts damaged parts of railway tracks between Oderolal and Palejani railway stations on Tuesday, suspending movement of trains for several hours.The explosions occurred at 7am, damaging 2-foot portions of down and up country tracks. After sometime, railway staff started repairing the tracks.
The trains which were halted at different places included Allama Iqbal Express, Khyber Mail, Hazara, Awami, Shah Rukn-i-Alam, Fareed and Pakistan Express.Bomb disposal squad officials said the explosions were caused by two bombs each weighing around one and a half kilogram.
According to police, local villagers reported having seen two motorcyclists planting the bombs.
Pamphlets of the Sindhu Desh Liberation Army bearing the name of its commander Darya Khan were found at the blast site.
A case has been registered at the Oderolal police station against unidentified accused.
