ISLAMABAD: Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-F (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman called on Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani at the Prime Minister House on Wednesday and discussed the overall political situation in the country.

Fazalur Rehman expressed satisfaction over the note sent by Law Minister Babar Awan to prime minister, explaining various aspects of blasphemy law and approval of the same.

He also informed the prime minister that Maulana Atta-ur-Rehman would explain the details of their discussions to the all parties steering committee on Namoos-e- Risalat and apprise them of the approval of the note sent by Babar Awan.

The talks were held in a very cordial atmosphere and there was unanimity of views on the matters discussed in the meeting.
