KARACHI, Feb 5: The PIA has cancelled the two special flights that were scheduled to go to Cairo on Sunday to bring back Pakistanis stranded in the Egyptian capital, a spokesman for the airlines said. Dawn

Mashhood Tajawar told on Saturday that the flights had been cancelled on the advice of the foreign ministry, probably owing to the uncertain situation there.

Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gillani had said a few days ago that as soon as the situation permitted aeroplanes would be sent to bring Pakistanis who have been caught in the political turmoil in Egypt.
