3 injured in attack

KOHAT, Feb 5: Militants on Saturday ambushed a car of the family of a top federal government official on Kohat-Hangu highway and injured three inmates.

The police said the family of the secretary Federal Bureau of Revenue Zeenat Shah was coming to their home in Khadizai here from Islamabad when it was attacked with automatic weapons by unknown men near Alizai. As a result Zeenat Shah's sons Tahir Ali, Salar Ali, and wife Umera Bibi sustained fatal bullet injuries.

They were admitted to the KDA hospital. The Ustarzai police registered case against unknown assailants and initiated investigations. —Correspondent
