VEHARI, Feb 3: A labourer's daughter was 'gang-raped' and her body was found at Chak 423-EB (Gagoo police precinct), about 55km from here.
Reports said labourer Ameer Ali's daughter was returning home from field on Wednesday when some gangsters abducted her and raped her and threw the body after killing her. Her body was found on Thursday.The Gagoo police registered a murder case under section 302 of PPC against the absconders. SHO Sadiq Dogar claimed it was a murder incident, though a medical report confirmed rape.
Burewala Tehsil Headquarters Hospital (acting) Medical Superintendent Dr Muneer Sindhu said initial report had confirmed rape but an exhaustive report was expected in a day or two.
