Body found in a sack

Published January 31, 2011

RAWALPINDI, Jan 30: A suspicious looking sack found by the police under a small bridge on the edge of Westridge here on Sunday produced the body of a young man on opening.

Apparently the man, not identified yet, was suffocated to death by unknown killers who tied his arms and sealed his mouth with tape before stuffing him in the sack.

The police thought the victim might have been in the custody of his tormentors before being killed. The victim appeared to be 30 to 35 years old, with a white complexion.

The police found nothing on the body that could help in identifying the victim and thus were clueless regarding the killers. The body was shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital for post-mortem.—Staff Reporter
