According to a release issued by Pakistan Rangers (Punjab), two suspected smugglers were crossing into Pakistan territory in Wagah border area in early hours when Rangers signalled them to surrender.

A large quantity of bottles of Indian liquor was also seized from the spot.

According to an official, nationality of the suspects has not yet been known and they will be handed over to the local police for further action.
