LAHORE, Jan 11: A father of three and a teenaged boy were shot dead apparently over minor issues in the city on Tuesday.
Burki police said Muhammad Aslam of Ludhar village stopped his neighbour Shahbaz from standing in the street and teasing girls. Shahbaz went to his house, came out with a gun and opened fire at Aslam.Injured Aslam was taken to a hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.
The police arrested Shahbaz and registered a case against him. Aslam's body was sent to the city morgue for an autopsy.
Separately, Manawan police said 19-year-old Fateh Muhammad of Lakhanpur Sharif was found dead with two bullet injuries near Gulshan-e-Daud.
According to the police, Fateh Muhammad left his house a day before his murder with his friends Saddam and Safdar Ali. Police registered a case against Saddam and Ali on the complaint of Fateh Muhammad's father who alleged that friends were involved in his son's murder.
BURNT: A two-year-old boy died of burns in Shahdara on Tuesday.
Shahid Ali was playing in the courtyard of his Nasir Park house when he fell on a gas heater and suffered severe burn injuries. He was taken to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.— Staff Reporter
