TOBA TEK SINGH, Jan 6: The district police chief on Thursday suspended a sub-inspector who was kidnapped by drug peddlers when he went to their hideout to collect the bribe money.

Sub-inspector Zafar Iqbal from Gojra's Sadar Police Station went to Chak 424-JB on Wednesday night to collect bribe money from drug peddlers and had an argument with them. The criminals caught him and snatched his pistol, cash and a cell phone set. DPO Ahsan Younis suspended Iqbal on Thursday and ordered an inquiry against him. SNATCHED:
