SUKKUR, Dec 30: A woman was shot dead near Ghotki, a man was killed in a traffic accident in the district of Ghotki and a woman was strangulated near Thull on Thursday. Miss Nazeeran, 40, wife of Yakoob Lolai, was working in Goth Attur Lolai near Ghotki when unknown men opened fire, killing her on the spot.

Police reached the spot and shifted the body to a Ghotki hospital for post-mortem after which it was handed over to relatives.

The reason of killing could not be ascertained. No case was registered till filing this report.

In Ghotki, a man was killed and three others were injured when two motorcycles collided at the Jarwar-Mirpur Mathelo link road.Aijaz Bozdar and Ghous Bux were on way to Mirpur Mathelo from the village of Yaroo Lund while Allah Dino Dayo and Sabhar Lund were going to Jarwar from Mirpur Mathelo on another motorcycle. When they reached the link road, their motorcycles collided head-on. Allah Dino Dayo was killed on the spot while Aijaz Bozdar, Ghous Bux and Sabhar Lund were injured. They were shifted to a Mirpur Mathelo hospital.

Near Thull, a woman was allegedly strangled to death by her husband over a domestic dispute in Goth Ghazi Khan Channa.

The man was identified as Inayatullah Channa and his wife as Miss Maryam Khatoon.

Police shifted the body to Thull hospital for post-mortem after which the body was handed over to relatives.
