GHALANAI, Dec 28: Two militants were killed and four others injured in a clash with security forces in Safi tehsil of Mohmand Agency on the night between Monday and Tuesday.
Sources said that militants attacked a checkpost in Ziarat area during the night. Security forces repulsed the attack, they said.
Two attackers were killed and four injured in exchange of fire with security forces.
Meanwhile, a security official was injured when he stepped on a landmine in Ambar tehsil of the tribal region. The injured man was shifted to Peshawar for treatment.
Helicopter gunships also shelled suspected locations in Rambat and Ghiljo Darra areas of Ambar tehsil.Read more
