GHALANAI, Dec 25: Helicopter gunships pounded militants' hideouts in Mohmand Agency on Saturday, killing five of them.
The targeted locations included residential compounds in Malangyar area of Safi tehsil, a stronghold of militants. Local people said they saw thick smoke billowing out of the houses. An official in the area said that five militants had been killed in the air assault. — Correspondent
