Flood victims’ registration

KOHAT, Nov 19: MNA Pir Dilawar Shah has accused staff of the revenue department of nepotism while preparing list of the flood affected people.

Former chief justice of Peshawar High Court and leader of PPP Ibne Ali has also expressed similar concerns about the BISP forms and pointed out that genuine people were not being registered by the staff.

In separate statements they said patwaris in the revenue department had submitted bogus names to provide undue benefit to their relatives while the data being collected under BISP was not based on facts.

On the other hand, some influential people are selling both the original and photo copies of BISP forms and fleecing the destitute people. —Correspondent
