N-League general body meeting on 19th
LAHORE, Feb 15: General council of the Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) is meeting here on Feb 19 (Thursday) to discuss a host of issues.
Party’s provincial president Sirdar Zulfikar Ali Khosa says the ongoing army operations in FATA and Swat, overall law and order situation in the country, lawyers’ proposed long march and re-organisation of PML-N are the items on top of the agenda the 900-strong council is going to discuss at its meeting to be held at Raiwind.
According to Mr Khosa, all parliamentarians and ticket-holders of the party, whether they are members of the council or not, all provincial office-bearers and district presidents and general secretaries from across the country have also been invited to the meeting. Mr Khosa, who has already completed his tour of the south Punjab, is set to visit central and northern districts of the province this week for motivating the party activists to participate in the long march.—Staff Reporter
