Two flour mills sealed
By Our Correspondent
TOBA TEK SINGH, Feb 15: Two flour mills were sealed by the food department in Gojra on Sunday.
An official said that both flour mills, one situated on Gojra-Moongi Road and the other on Gojra-Painsara Road, were found involved in smuggling of flour to other provinces.
Meanwhile, citizens of Toba, Gojra, Pirmahal and Kamalia have complained that the flour supplied to dealers or retailers is substandard as most of them are suffering from abdominal diseases after taking a roti of the second-rated flour.
A spokesman of the flour mills owners association claimed that the inferior quality of wheat imported from the United States was being marketed which was drawing a barrage of complaints.
