Clerks demand action against doctor

QUETTA, Dec 30: The Balochistan chapter of the All-Pakistan Clerks Association has urged the chief minister and the health department to take action against a doctor of the Bolan Medical Complex, whose negligence they blame for the death of a newborn baby.

Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, Haji Abdullah Khan, president of APCA’s Quetta chapter, said that the duty doctor was not at his post when the infant was admitted.

He warned that if the government did not take action, the APCA would launch a series of protests against the doctor.—Correspondent
