Courts directed to devote maximum time to judicial work
PESHAWAR, Dec 3: Peshawar High Court Chief Justice Tariq Pervez Khan on Wednesday paid a surprise visit to the Judicial Complex and issued necessary directives to the judicial officers.
According to a press release issued here, the chief justice was accompanied by PHC Registrar Qalandar Ali Khan.
During his visit, the chief justice inspected almost all the courts in the Judicial Complex and directed the presiding officers to devote maximum working hours to judicial work in the courtroom instead of wasting time in the retiring room.
Justice Tariq Pervez observed that this would enhance their image, besides inspiring confidence of the general public in the institution. The chief justice directed the registrar to take steps for arrangement of necessary repairs in the Judicial Complex and provide office equipments to facilitate the judicial officers in performance of their duty.
Later on, on the directives of the chief justice, the registrar also paid a surprise visit to the Sessions Court. —Bureau Report
