Bureau Report

HYDERABAD, Nov 15: The Sindh government is determined on resolving the problems of people at their doorstep for which open katchcheries were being held by all ministers, said Sindh Minister for Katchi Abadis and Spatial Development, Engineer Mohammad Rafique.

He said this during an open katchehry at the DCO office Jamshoro here on Saturday.

The government was working to realise the mission of Z.A. Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto of bringing about prosperity for the people of province.

The government had evolved many policies for ending unemployment and raising living standards of the poor people in a short period of six months, he said. He pledged provision of clean drinking water and improved sewerage system soon.

All ministers and advisers were taking extensive tours to ensure implementation of the development work, said the minister.

He received applications from the people and issued orders on spot. He told the bureaucracy not to forget that they were servants of people and not their masters.

HOME MINISTER: Sindh Home Minister, Dr Zulfiqar Mirza has said that the PPP came into power because of the sacrifices of Benazir Bhutto and was determined to complete her mission. This he said while addressing an open katchehry at Tando Mohammad Khan on Friday.
