KARACHI, Nov 12: Activists and supporters of the Baloch National Alliance, a conglomerate of several Baloch nationalist parties, staged a demonstration outside the Karachi Press Club on Wednesday to condemn the killing of Zahid Husain Baloch, a leader of the Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP-M), who was killed by two unidentified men in the Old Golimar area last week.

Carrying banners and placards, the participants raised slogans against the government and police for failing to arrest the culprits.

Earlier, the protesters assembled in Malir and drove up to the KPC in a procession. BNA Malir president Mir Abdul Ghafoor Baloch led the rally. He and other office-bearers of the alliance resolved to continue the campaign till the arrest of all those involved in the killing of Zahid Baloch.
