SHEIKUPURA, Oct 12: Like many other parts of the country, loadshedding has made people’s lives miserable in Sheikhupura and Sialkot districts.

Sheikhupura is currently facing more than eight hours of loadshedding a day. As a result, farmers, industrialists and students are in a great trouble.

The situation is far worse in Sialkot, where urban people are facing up to 14-hour loadshedding and rural people 16 to 18-hour power shutdown.

On Sunday, Daska city remained without power throughout the day. The city also remained without electricity from 11pm on Saturday to 8am on Sunday.

The city was completely crippled as all business and social activity remained suspended.
