ABL settles dispute with workers

KARACHI, Sept 22: The Allied Bank announced on Monday that it had reached a settlement with the ABL Workers Federation.

According to a press release issued by the ABL management, the settlement would be implemented only after the litigation is withdrawn and writ petition is disposed of as per terms stated in the settlement.

The meeting was attended by Mohammad Aftab Manzoor, CEO; Shafique Ahmed Uqaili, Group Chief, Human Resources; Saiful Islam, Group Head CRBG North; and other executives from Central Office. The ABL Workers Federation was represented by Akram Khan, Syed Shaikh Farhad Shah, Ajmal Khan, Syed Shahid Hussain Naqvi, Abu Zar Bukhari, Sadiq Dareshaq and Najeebullah Shah Rashidi.
