Flour smuggling attempts foiled
TAXILA, Sept 20: The local police claimed to have foiled two bids to smuggle wheat flour from Punjab to NWFP and arrested six smugglers besides confiscating huge quantity of the commodity.
In Taxila, the food department with the assistance of the local police foiled four bids to smuggle flour to NWFP via Hazra and confiscated 734 bags of the commodity. —Correspondent
