KARACHI, Sept 20: Four ships scheduled to load/offload containers, wheat and palm oil were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours.

According to a PQA press release on Saturday, two more ships to load cement and unload iron ore also arrived at outer anchorage.

Seven ships, Lucia, Limari, Nordina-G, S.D Glory, AI-Qawiyyu, Word Majesty and Karolina, were busy in loading and unloading containers, cement, wheat, palm oil and iron ore.

A cargo volume of 43,756 tons comprising 34,633 tons of import and 9,123 tons of export tonnage was handled.

New Setokaze sailed out while Lucia, Limari and AI-Qawiyyu were expected to depart on Saturday.
