KARACHI, Aug 21: Three ships carrying containers and chemicals were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Thursday.

Meanwhile, four more ships to load/offload cement, containers and palm oil also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Eight ships, CM CGM America, ACX Tsubaki, Christina, Leopard-B, Provider, Eastern Tera, Prim Pride and Hellenic Horizon, were busy in loading and unloading containers, cement, wheat, chemicals, crude oil and iron ore.

A cargo volume of 82,009 tons comprising 66,124 tons of import and 15,885 tons of export tonnage was handled.

CMA CGM America and ACX Tsubaki sailed out while Leopard-B and Prim Pride were expected to leave the port.
