LAHORE, Aug 15: Jon Eddy Abdullah will assume the charge of chief executive officer of Telenor on Aug 25. He is succeeding Tore Johnsen who had been holding the post since 2004.

Mr Abdullah has more than 15 years of experience from the telecommunication industry. He has been working with both infrastructure vendors as well as several mobile operators, most recently as chief operating officer in Maxis Telecommunications in Malaysia and chief technology officer in DiGi.—Staff Reporter
