KARACHI, Aug 15: Eleven ships carrying containers and to load cement and ethanol are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources.

Five ships, Lucky Arrow to load cement, Avenir, Sima Sahba, Francisca Schulte and Cap Colorado to unload and load containers were berthed.

APL Cairo, Y.M. Investment, APL Chicago, Empress Dragon, Northern Harmony, Lalazar, Royal Imperial, Caribbean Carrier, Bow Cape and Johar departed on Friday, while Cap Colorado, Gulg Bridge, Mol Ability, Lucky Arrow and Avenir are due to sail out on Saturday.

A total tonnage of 177,000 tons comprising 81,375 tons of export cargo and 95,299 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Saturday: Keiyoung Prince to load ethanol, Bunga Kenari, As Mars, Tauringla Express, Eric G. Gibson, D.P. Genoa, Hanjin Chittagong, Oel Transworld, Harmony and Seven Seas Aurora, with containers and Orient-11, to load 16,000 tons of cement.
