ISLAMABAD, Aug 12: The Federal Board of Revenue has extended the last date from August 15 to 25 for filing of sales tax/federal excise returns for tax period July 2008 to facilitate taxpayers.

An official announcement issued here on Tuesday, however, said that the due amount of sales tax and federal excise duty has to be deposited by the registered persons by August 15.
