THATTA, Aug 8: Two passers-by were buried alive under the debris of a wall in Uqaili Mohalla here on Friday.

Witnesses said Baboo Karwani and Hassan Mallah, fish and shrimp traders, were going to the wholesale market early in the morning when the wall of a house came crashing over them.

They were taken to Makli Civil Hospital where doctors pronounced them dead.

In Shikarpur district, two brothers Abdul Hayee Mahar and Nabi Bux Mahar died and their father Shahzado Mahar and mother Ms Kajaan were injured when the wall of their house collapsed in Abdoo village of Lakhi area on Thursday.

They were sleeping when the incident occurred. The injured Shahzado Mahar was referred to Larkana Civil hospital due to his serious condition while Ms Kajaan was sent to a Sukkur hospital.
