KARACHI, Aug 5: An oil tanker, Sea Lion, carrying 66,234 tons of furnace oil was accommodated berth on Monday, said a PQA press release on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, another container vessel also arrived at the outer anchorage. Six ships, QSM Dubai, Leopard-B, Ocean Beauty, Shrike, Sea Lion and Al-Soor-II, were busy in loading and unloading cement, rice, coke, furnace oil and diesel oil.

A cargo volume of 52,554 metric tons comprising 43,338 tons of import and 9,216 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Al-Soor-II sailed out while Shrike was expected to leave the port.
