CHARSADDA: ANP leader among three shot dead

CHARSADDA, Aug 4: An ANP leader and a woman were among three people allegedly shot dead in different incidents here on Monday.

According to official sources, in the first incident, unidentified gunmen shot dead an ANP local leader Malik Hamzullah, whose body was found dumped near Dando Pull (bridge) in the Saro Kallay area.

Sources said that the victim had been called to a jirga over telephone the other day, but he did not return and a search was launched for him.

In the other incident, an employee at the district and sessions court, Mohammad Nabi, was found shot dead in Nissata area.

In the third incident, the police recovered body of an unidentified woman in the Uthmanzai area. The body was placed in the hospital for identification.
