KARACHI, July 31: Six ships carrying containers, diesel oil, palm oil, coke and phosphoric acid were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Thursday.

In the meantime, two more vessels to load rice and unload containers arrived at the outer anchorage.

Eleven ships, ACX Dehlia, Rosa-M, Maersk Virginia, Abbud-G, QSM Dubai, Leopard-B, Al-Farabi, Yanaseni, Shrike, Star Dream and Al-Salam-II, were busy in loading and unloading various commodities.

A cargo volume of 89,999 tons comprising 78,851 tons of import and 20,148 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Yanaseni, Maersk Virginia and ACX Dehlia sailed out.
