BATKHELA, July 22: Unidentified armed persons barged into the house of a local, Abdul Qayyum, and opened indiscriminate fire on the inmates killing him and his daughter on the spot here on Tuesday.

According the FIR lodged with Lives force by Ahmed Shah, unidentified assailants entered their house at midnight on Monday in Ghawar Kalley and opened fire on the inmates. As a result his father Abdul Qayyum and sister Hussan Zeba were killed instantly. The accused managed to escape after committing the crime. He said they had no enmity with any body. — Correspondent
