LAHORE, July 7: The Federal Board of Revenue has exempted the distributors and wholesalers from the purview of Section 8 B of the Sales Tax Act 1990 on the demand of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Welcoming the decision in a statement issued here on Monday LCCI President Mohammad Ali Mian said that it would ensure relief to the business community particularly the wholesalers and distributors who were perturbed over their inclusion in the purview of Section 8 B of the Sales Tax Act 1990.
