KARACHI, June 29: More than 5,000 candidates appeared in the entry test for 650 MBBS and BDS seats available at the Dow Medical College, Sindh Medical College and Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan Institute of Oral Health Sciences.

Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) conducted the admission test.

All candidates had to pass through the electronic gates installed at the entrance to reach the examination halls and were frisked to ensure they did no possess mobile phones or arms.

Tents were erected outside the examination venue for those accompanying the candidates.

According to DUHS sources, the result of the entry test will be announced in the next few days.—APP
