Tax payment timings extended

ISLAMABAD, June 28: The government has extended timings for receiving taxes at all authorised branches of State Bank of Pakistan and National Bank.
An official announcement issued here said that all authorised branches of SBP and NBP will remain open till 6.00pm on Sunday (June 29) and up till 10.00pm on Monday.
Accordingly, all Income Tax Offices will remain open till 8.00 pm on Sunday and till 12.00 midnight on Monday.
These measures have been taken by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) as a part of its policy to extend all possible help and cooperation to the tax payers in meeting their tax obligations.
