KARACHI, June 27: Seven ships carrying containers and coal are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was on the higher side where seven ships, Berduansk to load clinkers, Ninth Ocean, Conti Jork, St. Irene, Kota Perdana and Hyundai Emperor with containers and Ocean Coral with general cargo were berthed.

Sailing was also active as six vessels including APL Cairo, Kapitan Bynakin, Rhoneborg, Ninth Ocean, Dream Diamond and Fabulous departed on Friday, while Johar, St. Irene, Ocean Coral, Kota Perdana, Conti Jork, Red Sea Spirit, Rosy Falcon, Athion, Blue Sky and Swat are due to sail out on Saturday.

A total tonnage of 0.112m tons comprising 46,477 tons of export including 5,752 tons of cement and 13,698 tons of clinker and 65,822 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Saturday. Cap Gabriel, Y.M. Improvement, Calvin P. Titus, Oel Trust and Lucky Sea with containers, Otello Manship with coal and Beluga Fusion with project cargo.
