KARACHI, June 21: The State Bank of Pakistan has decided to extend the list of exempted goods requiring no cash margin on import letters of credit.

In a circular letter issued to the presidents/chief executives of all banks here on Saturday, the SBP said “these instructions shall be enforced with immediate effect”.

However, other instructions contained in the circular issued on May 22, 2008 will remain unchanged, it added.
