SRINAGAR, June 20: Indian troops killed four militants in two separate clashes in occupied Kashmir, one along the Line of Control, the army claimed on Friday.
“Three of the militants were killed along the LoC in (northern) Kupwara district late on Thursday,” an army statement said.
It claimed the militants were trying to infiltrate into occupied Kashmir.
Soldiers also killed a senior commander of the Lashkar-i-Toiba in the neighbouring Baramulla district on Friday morning, the statement said, identifying the slain militant as Mehboob Ahmed alias Abu Tahir.
