KARACHI, June 12: A division bench of the High Court of Sindh (SHC) comprising Justice Dr Rana M. Shamim and Justice Ghulam Dastagir A. Shahani on Thursday reserved judgment in an acquittal plea filed by an accused, Khan Mohammad Mahar.

The applicant maintained in the bail plea that he belongs to the Hur group (PML-F led by Pir Sahib Pagaro) and was implicated in false cases due to a political vendetta.

The bench, after hearing the counsel for applicant/accused and NAB Sindh, reserved orders in the application for acquittal.—APP
