KARACHI, June 7: Three ships carrying containers and furnace oil were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Saturday.
Meanwhile, three more ships with chemicals and containers also arrived at the outer anchorage.
Seven ships, Maersk Novazzano, Lucien, Wales-II, Atlantic Dream, Al-Soor-II, Sea Lion and S.D Nova, were busy in loading and unloading containers, cement, diesel oil, furnace oil and coal.
A cargo volume of 80,468 tons comprising 59,833 tons of import and 20,635 tons of export tonnage was handled.
CMA CGM Nilgai, Lucien and Al-Soor-II sailed out while Maersk Novzzano and Wales-II were expected to depart on Saturday.
