KARACHI, May 20: Four ships carrying containers and coal are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources.
Berthing activity at the wharves was active where seven ships, Noor-i-Madina, Jave Cement and Sunrise Acacia to load clinkers, cement and Ethanol, China Star, Harmony, Kou Lung to unload and load containers and Patton-1 to unload and load general cargo were berthed on Tuesday.
Six ships, Surfing Jad, Harmony, Hyundai Advance, Mitra Bhum, Amwaj Karoon and Pacific Arrow departed on Tuesday, while Wan Hai-301, China Star, Oel Strength, Noor-i-Madina, Kuo Lung, Seven Seas Arrow, Sunrise Acacia and Valleba are due to sail out on Wednesday.
Cargo handling activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where a total tonnage of 0.128m tons comprising 41,576 tons of export cargo and 86,447 tons of import tonnage was handled on Tuesday.
The following ships are due on Wednesday: APL Pusan, Cap Colorado with containers, Star and Red Power with coal.
