KARACHI, May 11: A policeman and a suspected criminal were killed in a shootout in Korangi late Saturday night.

Constables Nawab Khan and Javed Sher were riding their motorcycle when they learnt about the presence of four suspects near Chamra Chowrangi. As they arrived at the place, they were shot at by the suspects, wounding both of them. Javed Sher returned fire, killing one of the suspects. Constable Nawab Khan died in the JPMC.
