KARACHI, April 30: Two ships carrying containers and canola seeds were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, three more ships to load/offload containers, cement and palm oil also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Eight ships, Nedlloyd Europa, Leopard-B, Nova Noor, H.S Acacia, Endeavor-I, Overseas Rein Mar, Chemroad Haya and Kaghan, were busy in loading and unloading containers, cement, seeds, palm oil, diesel oil, chemicals and iron ore.

A cargo volume of 84,460 tons comprising 65,457 tons of import and 19,003 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Overseas Rein Mar, Endeavor-I, Kaghan and Maersk Europa sailed out.
