FIR ordered

DADU, March 6: The second additional session judge of Dadu directed the Jhallo police on Thursday to register an FIR against the TPO (operation) Dadu; DSP (investigation);

SHO Jhallo, and 64 other police officials for torturing a villager.

On the complaint of the torture victim, Abdul Hakeem Solangi, resident of Nabi Bux Solangi village, the court directed the police to register an FIR against TPO Gul Baig Jatoi, DSP investigation Abdullah Buriro, SHO Jhallo police station Imamuddin Khoso, ASI Mohammad Saleh Pitafi, PML local leader Syed Fida Hussain Shah and some unidentified police constables for torturing the villager.

Abdul Hakeem Solangi said these police officers raided his and his brother’s houses, tortured them and damaged their belongings.—Correspondent
