Thieves set shop on fire

TOBA TEK SINGH, Feb 13: Thieves set on fire a shop after stealing cable and other valuables from it here on Tuesday night on Gojra Road.

According to the store owner, some thieves broke into his shop and collected cable and valuables worth Rs500,000. They set the shop ablaze and managed to escape.

Meanwhile, a thief was caught red-handed the same night while stealing electric wire from a mobile phone company tower.

Warid site supervisor Yousaf caught Faisal stealing wire and handed him over to police. Faisal confessed to steal wire from Muhammadpura locality tower of the company two days ago.
