KHAIRPUR: Teacher killed


KHAIRPUR, Feb 12: A primary school teacher was killed when fleeing thieves fired at a group of villagers who were chasing them in Priyaloi on Monday.

Reports reaching here said that five stole buffalos from the house of Abdul Rasheed in Jhugi mohalla and were driving them away when them inmates woke up and raised alarm.

The neighbours rushed to their help and soon caught up with the fleeing thieves with the help of their footprints in the jurisdiction of Faiz Mohammad Bindo police station but they opened fire as they saw them coming killing Mohammad Hassan Qureshi, a primary school teacher.—BoC
