PESHAWAR, Feb 8: An unmanned spy plane crashed near the Peshawar airport on Friday, but caused no damage. The aircraft was on a routine surveillance flight.
According to police, the drone fell in an open area near the Khalil Public School in the Abdara village, hitting the wall of a house.
Police cordoned off the area after the crash. The plane’s wreckage was transported by Pakistan Air Force personnel in a pickup. The cause of the crash could not be ascertained.
